Ein Vogel schlug um Punkt halb vier
dem Himmel, der noch schwieg
mit Vorsicht eine Zeile vor
behutsamste Musik.

Die Probe ging bis um halb fünf
und er bestand zuletzt -
schon hat sein silbernes Prinzip
die anderen ersetzt.

Halb sieben - und sein Element
war fort, samt dem, ders lieh -
der Ort, er wurde Gegenwart
in der Peripherie.
