der ganze englische Vers könnte im Konjunktiv stehen.
hatte ich mir gezeichnet müsste im Englischen heißen I had drawn
so wies dasteht könnte es auch
ein Bild meiner Frau
würde ich zeichnen
hätt ich nur Zeit
heißen

Ja, komplett im Konjunktiv macht Sinn.
Das ist leicht geändert:

mit ein wenig Zeit.
Ich könnte sie auf Reisen
