Some descant ou want of nicety in
The Muse of Shakspeare; — tho' this could begin
Ab an advocate to describe it clear
Like the purest thought, or as ether — air,
Verity speaks, did in Iago's voice
Although not follow'd e'en the word "rejoice,"
Yet who would overlook philosophy
As his thought deep, and truthful as the sky
That the contrary 's as a satire view'd ; —
Who exists with reasoning pow'r imbued
Would spurn a mountain if a straw was found
To impede his progress o'er the ris'n ground?
And who does not fair wisdom's sun behold,
Tho' scarce a breath would dim its splendour's gold?
