What ages have roll'd by, bearing the wreck
Of nations, as on the expanded sea
Is each comparatively floating speck
Which soon is swallow'd in immensity,
Sincewas each trait'rous dagger raised 'gainst him
Whose eclipsing splendour o'ershadow'd those
