Com'i' v'ò detto, a tutto lor podere
Lo Dio d'Amor e la sua baronia
Presti eran tutti a far senn'e follia
Per acompiérmi tutto 'l mio volere.
Allor pensai s'i' potesse vedere
Dolze-Riguardo per cosa che sia:
Inmantenente Amor a me lo 'nvia,
Di che mi fece molto gran piacere.
E que' sì mi mostrò Bellacoglienza,
Che 'nmantenente venne a salutarmi,
E sì mi fece grande proferenza;
E po' sì cominciò a merziarmi
Delle mie gioie: di ch'ell'avea vogl[i]enza
Di quel presente ancor guiderdonarmi.

Machtvoll bereit, wie ich gesagt soeben:

Und Amor, meine Freude noch zu heben,
Rief ihn mir, daß er helfe unverdrossen.
Der ließ mich Frohwillkomm alsbald erblicken,
Wie sie mit anmutvollem Hauptesnicken
Und liebem Gruß mir eilig kam entgegen,
Um ihren Dank zu Füßen mir zu legen
Für die Geschenke. „Was Ihr mir so huldig
Gespendet, bin ich zu erwidern schuldig.“
