Wealth is a solemn talent, few reflect
They 're stewards of high Fortune's offering.
Which will require a strict account, and bring
To audit those with useless splendour deck'd;

For view yon son of indolence and pride,
Whose wanton lavish wastings would supply
The suff rer's need with gen'rous sympathy
And sustenance the famish'd one provide !

How will such behold the glorious place,
The source which has the misused gift bestow'd ?
No smile will welcome him, no words of grace
Tell him of happiness in that abode,
While he who lived despised and sunk in woe,
Th' offspring of Heav'n, shall all ita raptures know.
