All that revivifies — the spirit's air,
Congenial aid ; the fine structure rear'd
Is tenanted by effect that endear'd ;
Virgil's Ninus and Euryalus share

Admiration ; th' orator from the glare
Retir'd to learning, proverbial became —
Reflection speeds to the great Hero's name
Expressing " Hope" to Perdiccas, and where
Shadows of death, glory encompass'd ; there
Th' implied heart-knit friendship divided Fame.
